Delete Distractions
Friends, have you ever been amazed by a fantastic dance video, found a shiny bag or shoe on sale, felt great completing all levels of a video game, or won a few bucks from a slot machine?
We all need some fun from time-to-time, but let's not let it distract us from what's truly important. We must be careful not to fall into addiction.
Do you find yourself scrolling endlessly through social media when you should be working or studying? Are you gossiping with friends, harming someone's reputation, instead of being there for a friend who needs your support? Are you spending money on things you don't really need, just to cope with stress and anxiety?
Friends, we can remove these distractions. Get rid of credit cards, social media apps, video games, drugs, toxic people, and bad influences if they are keeping you from reaching your life goals and becoming the best version of yourself, God created you to be.
Seek professional help, talk to a trusted friend, or join a loving community to find out why you look for these distractions.
Let's take care of our mental health the right way. Remove distractions, stay focused on what matters, and live, truly fulfilled.
