The Parts of a Truly Fulfilled Life
In this author's humble opinion, to live a truly fulfilled life, we need to take care of the following aspects of our lives, in no specific order.
- Physical health
- Financial health
- Resilience
- Love of Self
- Love of People
- Love of Nature
- Love of God
We need to be physically fit so we can sustainably do what needs to be done.
We should have enough money, so we can buy food, have a place to stay, travel around, among other necessities.
We should learn how to be resilient, regardless of what happens to the economic, social, political & natural environments.
We should love ourselves. Understand that we are important. That we are a part of something big. That we have a purpose.
We have to love people, just like how we love ourselves. Giving back is much more fulfilling than taking.
If we love people & ourselves, then we should also love our environment. If we take care of our environment, then nature can also take care of us.
Through nature, as well as in many ways, we will find God, realize that He really exists, that He loves us so much, and that He is the most important part of our lives. This allows us to consequently love Him back.
These steps are difficult and can be overwhelming. But if we take steps to take care of some, most, or all of these parts of our lives every day, then we can live truly fulfilled.
